The Standard Abrasives rubber sanding drum holds an abrasive band for contour work (band sold separately). Constructed from rubber, the drum expands at high speed for the closest possible fit with a band of the same size for controlled operation. This enables it to run smoothly over contoured surfaces and into hard to reach areas without skipping or jumping for a smooth, precise finish.
