3M Scotchlok color coded standard bullet-style male disconnect terminal attaches to the mating part with a tongue that slips over-the female tab. The snap plug has a butted seam barrel that is covered by a funnel designed, rigid molded, polyvinyl chloride sleeve. The polyvinyl chloride sleeve serves to guide the wire into position while providing electrical contacts and mechanical stress relief at the point of insulation. It has an abrasion-resistant, flared, vinyl sleeve insulation which ensures easy crimping.
