Scotch fine line tape 265 is a high performance film backed tape designed for in mold fine line masking where sharp, clean, gelcoat color separation lines are desired. Scotch fine line tape 265 features a silicone rubber pressure sensitive adhesive on a green polypropylene plastic film for sharp, clean, color separation lines. The film backing has superior gelcoat chemical resistance compared to vinyl backings and is conformable, yet strong enough to pull sharply through gel coatings. The silicone rubber adhesive offers excellent adhesion to semi-permanent, high slip molds and pulls smoothly from high slip mold releases. The tape's easy unwind and strong backing minimizes stretch during roll unwind.
